Webster Names Mimi Rog New SVP for Learning and Talent Management

 
Webster Bank has named Mimi Rog as its new senior vice president and Director, Learning and Talent Management. She reports to Chief Human Resources Officer Bernard Garrigues.
Rog will have comprehensive responsibility for strategy and programs
related to talent management, professional development, business
education, leadership development, career development and certifications.
“Talent development is a critical element of Webster’s success,” said
Garrigues. “Using her exceptional skills and experience, Mimi will
spearhead our efforts in core areas where we are making strategic
investments — areas that drive both banker engagement and business
results.”
Rog joins Webster from a successful 27-year career with General Electric. During her time at
GE, she held various human resources leadership roles. Most recently, she was executive HR
business partner, Digital Technology. Prior to that, she served as chief learning officer for GE
Capital.
Rog is a resident of Fairfield, Connecticut, and holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science
from Allegheny College. Active in her community, she is a volunteer with the Connecticut
Institute for Refugees and Immigrants (CIRI).
